You first verify that your plan qualifies for this benefit and if so, enroll in one of the Member Health Partnership programs prior to seeing an LDN (Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist). You can get this information by going to www.bcbsnc.com, or calling 1-800-218-5295. Have your membership card ready prior to calling.

Other insurance carriers are providing coverage for Medical Nutrition Services (MNT) when provided by a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN). You may want to check to see if your plan does so.
