Experience:
  • Ten years experience with US Army: Augsburg, Germany, VA Medical Center-Fayetteville, NC, as clinical nutritionist, 1974-1984.
  • Founder, Nutrition Consultants, Inc., 1985, serving on the Medical Advisory Committee for Chamber of Commerce. 
  • President of Fayetteville Dietetic Association.
  • Treasurer of North Carolina Dietetic Association.
  • Activist for NC licensure of registered dietitians (achieved in 1991 with first Licensure Board chairman, Laurie Holliday, a former associate dietitian of Nutrition Consultants, 1985-1989.
  • Contracted with University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to provide nutrition intervention for 60 area women enrolled in The Women's Health Initiative, 1997-2005. 
  • Hospital, extended care facilities contractual agreements for provision of clinical services, on-going.
